Awake, Lord! Why do you sleep? Rouse yourself! Do not reject us forever. (Psalms 44:23) The concept of rest and unawareness related to the Biblical God is strongly confirmed in the Bible. From the very beginning, after the creation of the universe, the Biblical deity rested (Genesis 2:2). He ended His work on the seventh day, rested and blessed that day. That was a holy memorable event. In light of that, Moses preached to the his people rest on the seventh day of each week, the Sabbath. As God rested on that day, they were to rest too. (Exodus 31:15). Furthermore, we are told that He was unaware; He awoke as from sleep, as a warrior awake from the stupor of wine (Pslams 78:65). The Psalmist shouted Awake, Lord (Psalms 35:23). Muslims believe that God is aware of everything (Quran 33:40), and certainly does not rest (Quran 2:255). He rests? Hes Unaware? What do you believe? Its up to you to choose.
