Awake: The Life of Yogananda will be playing at Metro Cinema in February. The most profound message that this movie + Yoganada carry is this: Yoga, meditation and if I may add all other activities that help to connect our body and mind/soul together, is the channel in which we charge our bodies (batteries) with cosmic energy (love). When we plug in and recharge, EVERYTHING + I mean EVERYTHING falls into place. Its hard to describe. You just have to trust + do it. 10 minutess a day plugging in: yoga, running, walking, sitting in silence, skiing, breathing, swimming, etc. We do not engage in these activities so that we can lose weight, sculpt the perfect body, eat + drink all the crap we want without any repercussions. We engage in these activities to join together our trinity: mind, body, soul. Plug in, recharge, + be ready to co-create with the Universe. Thats what a successful + fulfilling life is: the ability to co-create. However, if you are sick, scattered, sad, angry, etc, there is no way you can tune into the flow of life. Ever try to power up your electronics with a dead battery? Exactly. So why would you think you could divine and create a positive + beautiful life when you are dead inside.
