Award of Scholarships for Descendents of Muktijoddha by Government of India Offered By High Commission of India Aplicable for: HSC, Bachelor Level. Requirements: Male students who have secured GPA 3.25 and above and Female students who have secured GPA 3 and above and have obtained admission in a recognized institute for continued study. Those students who have already received scholarship in the previous year need to re-apply alongwith proof of having passed the previous academic year with acceptable GPA. (Average Family Income less than Tk 8000 per month). Facility: Tk 24,000/- per year for four years for Undergraduate students and Tk 10,000/- per year for one year for Higher Secondary students, i.e. only second year students. Apply Procedure: Application in English on plain paper alongwith format (available on hcidhaka.gov.in). One passport size colour photograph of the applicant. Monthly family Income certificate duly signed by Chairman of Village/UNO/ TNO/any Class I Gazetted Officer. Copy of Muktijoddha Certificate issued only by the Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh. Name of Educational Institution, Proof of Admission and attested copy of applicable mark sheet. Photocopy of voter/National ID card/Students ID card. Selection Procedure: Applications are invited from direct descendants of Muktijoddhas, who are pursuing first to fourth year of Undergraduate studies in Bangladesh and second year studies in Higher Secondary schools in Bangladesh, for award of Annual Scholarships by the Government of India, for Academic year 2014-2015.
