Award-winning documentary photographer Jack Picone will lead a ½ day masterclass on how images ‘work’ singularly and collectively with an emphasis on how to construct a visual narrative. Pre-requisites: Basic familiarity with your camera. If you’re a beginner please feel free to bring along your manual. To ensure some one on one time with Jack the class size is limited to only 12 spots. All participants must bring along their own camera and laptop. About Jack Jack Picone is the recipient of several of photography’s most prestigious international awards in photojournalism including, The World Press Awards, the U.S. Photographer of The Year Award (POY) and the Mother Jones/IFDP Grant for Social Documentary Photography. His work has been exhibited and projected several times at the prestigious Visa d’ Or Reportage Festival in France and has been exhibited in major galleries and venues worldwide. For the past 25 years Picone has covered wars and major social issues in Asia, Africa and Europe. He is currently based in Bangkok.
