Awesome Farewell week Run Report One run can change your day, many runs can change your life. We all started out as strangers. Then we became runners and now we are one big family that keeps growing bigger every week. Its not just kilometers we are putting in, but we are making memories that last a life time. So fellow LRCians as I bid you good bye, I take with me these memories. The past 10 months have been awesome thanks to all the runners who have run with us. I thought I was just starting a simple run club but it became something bigger than I imagined. We have started something that is magical now we continue the magic and take LRC places. Looking at the timeline of LRC I realized we have done some awesome events and lot of good charity work too that we can be proud about. As we come close to our 1 year Anniversary we should all feel proud of what we have achieved as runners and the good we have done. Today as most of youll know was my farewell run hosted by the LRC committee. I dont have words to describe how beautifully it was organized. Need to thank all my friends who came for this send off and all those who have send me their wishes. The mementos I received is something that I will cherish for ever. Need to specially thank the LRC Special 14 who have made the last 3 days spectacular for me - Prashant Nikam, Irfan Mohamed, Vikas Ganjoo, Om Lakhani, Aakash Ranga, Isha Rao, Shashin Rao, Sabina Halder, Chaitali Firecracker Nandi, Sanjana Chandni, Abhijeet Sethi, Tanya Chopra, Nitesh Vijay Ranglani & Nikhil Moorjani. They have been a great support and together we make a great team. So I know LRC will be in safe hands in my absence. I have to thank my Mom Devi Divakaran, my Dad, my Bro and my Sis-n-law Smrithi Dinesh Divakaran who have always motivated me and been my greatest supporters. Without my family I dont think it would have been possible. Need to also thank a person who has inspired me and continues to do so Mr. Bhasker Desai. So I end this report by thanking every person who I have met during my runs. Made a lot of friends. All the best to all runners. We also have 2 runners from our committee who will also be leaving for further studies to USA - Isha Rao and Akash Ranga. All the very best to them too. So LRC is going to run international now. So we got miles to go....and memories to make.....before we sleep.
