Awesome Letter to the Editor in todays Times: Carmina Burana Hits High Note In 2012, while checking local television stations one Sunday morning, I came across an interview Scott Bremner was conducting with Daniel Meyer. At that time, I had never attended an Erie Philharmonic concert. It was a fortuitous moment, as what I heard prompted me to purchase tickets for the entire season and become a subscriber. I soon discovered that internationally known guest artists perform with the Erie Philharmonic, which is certainly a special treat. But aside from celebrity guest artists, the Erie Philharmonic is rich with talent. The performance on April 5 of Carmina Burana was absolutely out of this world. It was a truly captivating experience. For anyone who has long attended Erie Philharmonic concerts, I am preaching to the choir with these accolades. But for those who have never heard the Erie Philharmonic, I want to convey how truly moving and thrilling the concerts are so that more people will consider sharing in the delight.
