Awesome message from Ashley - thank you for your feedback. Hey Pastor, Ive been meaning to send you a message since Sunday and am just now getting around to sitting down at my computer. I wanted to thank you for your message on Sunday. I was also one who attended a Assembly of God during my high school years and always felt less than par due to the fact that I did not speak in tongues. While I loved that church and the people there who were instrumental in drawing my back to Christ during a tumultuous time in my adolescence- it was explained to me that the gift of tongues was the least of all gifts and if I couldnt do that I essentially had no hope of ever receiving any other gifts and the possibly of not being filled with the Holy Spirit at all. Talk about feeling hopeless! I really enjoyed your message and appreciate your balanced view of the scriptures. It is important to me to understand these principles in context according the whole Word of God rather than forming doctrine based on a single verse. Thank you again!
