Awhile back The Lord was speaking to me and He used the word distinctive as He was describing the body of Christ and the differences in each of us. As I was reflecting on that today I sadly realized that people want to take from you that thing that makes you different and set apart from everyone else. Some despise that distinctiveness. They want you to conform to be what they want you to be, which is just like them. They are destiny stealers and dream killers, though their intentions may seem good, the end result is to steal your God given identity. This could possibly be why the body of Christ deals with such an identity crisis. Celebrate your distinctiveness! Different is good. There is destiny in your distinctiveness. God made you different for a purpose!
