Awkward moment during raya visiting today: As we reached wifeys aunts place, there were a few other guests seated around. As usual we will go ard shaking hands and saying hi...as both wifey and I were approaching a group of guys, one of them stood up and enthusiastically reached out his hand towards my wifey and wanted to shake her hands...wifey politely declined to shake his hand, and to shake off the awkwardness (of coz the jealous and possessive side of me emerged already), i extended my hand to the guy instead...I find it quite strange that the guy seemed apprehensive to shake my hand but was so enthusiastic to shake my wifeys hand... he finally did after giving me a wry smile..., Went on to enjoy the food spread, when the group of guys stood up to take their leave... Then i noticed, that same guy went on to shake my wifes aunt hand but not the other guys in the house...i nearly choked on the delicious bone steak when i realized that the guy wasnt actually a guy afterall.... Shucks! He is a SHE!! OMG!!...it was extremely awkward... When i asked wifeys aunt, Who is that? She replied,oh, SHE is my colleague at work.. Aduh, kalau tak tahu tak dosa kan? Next time, must be more careful....
