Aww damn. I knew nothing this good could last, but I was happy to enjoy this place from beginning to end, get to play a show there with Mikey on the board, spend time with Kate Peterson Koch and Franklin Koch at their wedding reception, meet and get to know Jeremy Essig with the Riverfront Times crew, put on two awesome Art Attack events for KDHX, play ping pong with Kiernan Maletsky, send off Jason Hutto, have a Twangfest or two, eat the best burger in town, flip into the pillow pit, see CHRONO MAN, see Cursive, see YACHT, see Volcanos, see mr. Gnome, and so many other shows...man I am really, really, REALLY going to miss this place. A lot. Thank Maebelle Reed, thanks Kris Kerry, thanks Andrea Royals, thanks Sarah Cochran and Matt Stuttler. I was never here for Mississippi Nights. Plush is my own legendary St. Louis venue. Im too sad to think about it.
