Axel and I were in line paying for gas when some redneck woman behind us said, Whered you get that iPad, kid? to him. He didnt respond. He just stared. The woman continued trying to speak to him, and he went around the opposite side of me. I dont usually feel the need to explain, but I said, He probably wont answer you. Hes nervous and has a hard time talking to new people sometimes. Hes autistic. Oh God. Im so sorry. Thats hard. My sister is raising her daughters kid that came out like that, because the mama drank while she was pregnant. *clenching my jaw* That is not what causes autism. Now if youll excuse me, it has started pouring rain and my window is down at the pump. Oh it is too what caused it. I think I oughta know. You dont know our family. Can you tell me what causes someone to continue a conversation with a mother trying to get her child into the car in the rain after she already said her window was down and she excused herself?! Get out of my way.
