Conflict & Confrontation: Open, ideological, Constructive Conflict where reasonable people dont have to obtain agreement from others, but are satisfied with just knowing they were heard..... IS ALWAYS a better plan than passive, subtle or aggressive sarcastic comments glossed over to preserve a sense of artificial harmony. Harmony is not always a good thing, nor is popular consensus. If either of these happen naturally as a result of working through issues? Terrific. But that isnt how it usually works, so both become an attempt to please everyone...which is impossible. We NEED Constructive Conflict in our personal AND professional lives to keep propelling all of us to change for the better. It frustrates me when people say I am what I am or some other self proclamation that declares they are finished with growing in this life. Really??? Who wants THAT as a legacy? Or even as a friend, family member or business professional you associate with? So - speak up People for Constructive Conflict and Healthy Confrontation by using Practiced Resolution Skills when something happens that needs to change. Stop being preoccupied with the personal discomfort that can tag along when attempting to pursue them. The dread wont ever go away - but when did the right thing to do... rest on feelings? And to those of you that still use tactics that dont require grown up skills to execute? You need a new normal. Those of us in your world? We NEED you to find a new normal. #FindYourSkills
