By its definiton, and organization is an association of people with a certain advocacy or agenda. On the other hand, a fraternity is defined as a type of organization. Using these two given definitons, we can say that all frats are considered organizations, but not all organizations are considered fraternities. Thus, we can say that frats are only proper subsets of organizations. And since frats and organizations dont have exactly the same elements, we arrive to the conclusion that organizations are not equal to fraternities. (P.S. I have nothing against frats.
