**Ayub park- Friendly ** Defence Fc 2-3 Red devils Defence FC made their way to one of their most challenging matches of this season against the Red Devils. Usama was highly energetic on the drive to the match after being told he was going to play the whole match (pfft). The Defence boys looked to set to build upon their one victory record against the highly feared Red Devils. The match started off with Moeed ‘Fateh Ali Khan’, Mamoo and Prince Zaidu completing the front three followed by ‘Please mujay pick karleyna’ Umer as a defensive midfielder, ‘Ghora’ Hamza Liaqat and Taha completing the backline with the big man Hamza Aamir in goal. ‘Santi’ Usama, who is greatly troubled by his messed up kit, was in his usual position on the bench where he spent the rest of the match along with ‘Mr Biceps’ Milo, Sunny, the very lovely Awais Lovely and Manager Adil. The match started off with great pace, Defence surprisingly were on the attack from kick off. Quick passing and swapping of wings made it difficult for the Devil boys to keep track of the Defencians. Prince Zaidu broke the dead lock with a powerful shot which was heavily deflected in by one of the defenders. Defencians continued their pressure on the Reds backline and finally broke through once more through Zaidu once again. The Devils finally managed to find their foot into the game and managed to score their first goal and then equalized from a penalty after out of nowhere Prince Zaidu decided to play volleyball in the middle of the box. Defence kept the pressure up on the Devil defence, however a number of attempts were saved by the Devils goalkeeper. Devils managed to score another goal. Defence retaliated with a full attack minded tactic but it wasn’t enough. A Special shout out to Hamza Aamir who was immaculate with a number of diving saves in the match. (It takes a lot to move that big body of his let alone make dives). Taha and Ghora were superb in defence countering a number of Devils attacks. Special recognition to Raja Sohaib who spent the whole match in his ‘Paint me like one of your French girls’ position on the sidelines. All in all a good game for the Defencians who really showed they mean business. Goal scorer : Zaid (2) Man of the match : Hamza Liaqat
