Azam FC left for South Africa yesterday for build up matches ahead of the new league season. --------------------------------------- Team official Patrick Kahemele said yesterday the team left for Johannesburg without their two dependable international players who are nursing injuries - Humphrey Mieno from Kenya and Brian Umony (Uganda). He said while in South Africa the Chamazi-based side will play Kaizer Chiefs tomorrow before playing Mamelodi Sundowns on August 7. The team will also entertain Orlando Pirates and Moroka Swallows on August 9 and August 12, respectively. Players who travelled are Mwadini Ally, Waziri Salum, Aggrey Morris, Erasto Nyoni, Jackson Chovu, Jabir Aziz, Shaaban Kisiga and Kenyan international Jockins Atudo. Others are Kipre Bolou, Salum Aboubakar “Sure Boy”, Hamid Mao, Kipre Tchetche, John Bocco and Hamis Mcha. Officials are Stewart Hall (coach), Jemedari Saidi (team manager) and Jeffery Idd Maganga (spokesman). The team will return to Dar es Salaam on August 13 ready to face Yanga on August 17 in the Cummunity Shield match, signalling the start of the Mainland Premier League, a week later
