B&H did an hour & a half webcast a couple days ago with a Panasonic rep about the Panasonic DMC-GH4. I watched part of it live. Its now archived on YouTube & Im watching the whole thing. The question was asked why the GH4 doesnt have in-camera image stabilization like the Olympus OMD series do, & even the Panasonic DMC-GX7. The answer was HEAT. The sensor stabilizing mechanism generates heat, and also moves the sensor away from a substantial heat sink, both of which would result in more image noise. The GX7 is primarily a still camera with video capability, so the heat issue wasnt as critical. Interesting! https://youtube/watch?v=Z6mKJyhtCO0
