B. Hamilton is finishing their second record. Awesome! They are a great band. They did a crowd sourcing thing to finish it off. Short story: I kicked in and get to make them (or Ryan Christopher Parks) do a cover song of my choosing... THEN, I kicked it to my radio show audience... (aaaaaaallllll THREE OF EM!) . The idea was to not necessarily pick an awesome song, but a song that could make a great or interesting cover. This has some precedent... Here is a great example of the contemporary R&B pop hit Pony by Genuwine, reimagined as a finger picked guitar number by Mr. Parks. Were long past that and I... frankly, was supposed to have decided by now. Its down to two choices. The time to vote is now, I make no promises to abide by the popular vote or the electoral college. But I will take all commentary under advisement as I complete this very, very important decision. I will post both in the comments.... either way, im pretty psyched to hear the results.
