B-Metro reported in todays issue that a Gwabalanda man, name supplied, called his wedding off after his father vowed to sleep with his would be wife as per the Kalanga tradition. The father of the man has to be intimate and sample his daughter in law on the night after the wedding or a day before the wedding thanks to the Kalanga customs. So whats next for the bride and the groom since they refused the grooms father to have his cake and eat it? Does it mean father and son relationship is gone or shall we witness an owner killing which we see in the muslim world? My good Kalanga folks could you please shed more light on this old but fashionable tradition which Kalanga men enjoy? Suppose the husband had actioned this scenario, what guarantee is there that it wont happen again especially if the father-in-law is a tiger in bed? Dont tell me that all my married Kalanga niggas put their wives to a one night stand with their fathers!
