BABA JUKWA AND MAI JUKWA: THE MASTERS OF DECEPTION OR SIMPLY THE - TopicsExpress

BABA JUKWA AND MAI JUKWA: THE MASTERS OF DECEPTION OR SIMPLY THE MASTER OF DECEPTION The Zimbabwe Guardian is trawling through hundreds of Facebook posts by Baba Jukwa and Mai Jukwa, and all the media reports by, and on them. The findings are interesting. The web of lies created by the two virtual characters (or one real person), the various hidden agendas, and the skilful hoodwinking of state agents, mainstream newspaper editors and government officials is incredible. We will publish our findings sometime this week. We can tell you that it will make very interesting reading. We will look at minute details like similarities in writing skills between the two fictional characters, despite attempts to look different. We also explore the deliberate misuse of the English grammar on Baba Jukwas page, the deliberate misspellings and bad punctuation, the similarities in graphics used by both characters on their Facebook posts, on Team Zanu-PF Facebook page, etc. One question, for example, that we ask is: Who would have had the computer skills to draw the original Baba and Mai Jukwa cartoons, and their various versions used on other Jukwa Facebook platforms like Jukwa Jukwa and others? They were not reproduced from anywhere on the internet. Who was also capable of drawing all the strikingly similar versions of Baba Jukwa that were used in the Zanu-PF videos and posters? Could that person have been the originator of the Baba Jukwa cartoon in the first place? Team Zanu-PF used other very distinctly similar versions of the Baba Jukwa cartoon in print and in video? Who produced the storyboards for the videos so well and so precisely? Who had the expertise to do so within Team Zanu-PF? Did this character take advantage of the election season to launch his agenda knowing that everyone will be busy and not able to see through the agenda? Did Edmund Kudzayi endear himself to many professionals because he was doing multi-media work for them? Was he working with these professionals during the day and attacking them at night? Did Edmund Kudzayi endear himself to state security agents because he seemed more skilled than them in unmasking a character he had created anyway? Did he use his IT skills to implicate some people he was working with - people who did not know that he was the one working anonymously as Baba Jukwa? Did Baba Jukwa recruit people as administrators on his Facebook page who fit his agenda? Was this the game plan all along or he simply became an opportunity criminal? We saw a change in the quality of many news websites and in graphics used in online and print versions of newspapers, etc. Could this be the clue to why Edmund Kudzayi endeared himself to so many people, who now do not suspect that he is Baba Jukwa? The trail and the timelines will be crucial to solving the Jukwa mystery. Please Catch Me If You Can. Look out for an interesting read this week as we profile Baba Jukwa and Mai Jukwa.
