BABARRA MASSACRE:On 12th august 1948,a protest demonstration was going to take place at Babara,charsadda against the destruction of khudai khidmatgar markaz in sardaryab,charsadda and the arrest of Bacha khan and khudai khidmatgars.The protest procession was headed by salar i azam of khudai khidmatgars salar amin jan khan of kochian Peshawar.The barbaric govt of that time whose head was Qayyum khan in the province and jinnah sb in the centre, ordered to open fire on men,women and children who were taking part in procession.As a result hundreds of men and women were injured and died in the procession.So 12 th of august is obesrved as black day in the history of Pakhtoons.
