BABIES AND GODS WORKS IN THE WOMB And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man who was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, was it this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither has this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. [John 9:1-5]. The man did not sin in his mothers womb, yet he was born blind; why? Just because the purpose of God according to election might stand (not of works, but of He who calls - Romans 9:11); and in the case of the blind man from birth, it was for the work of God to be manifest in him. What did he mean by the work of God may be made manifest through that man born blind? It meant that if God had given him eyes and sight in the womb as a babe in womb, people would have taken that for granted because it is natural for babies to be born with eyes and sightseeing. So God through Jesus Christ wanted men to see and appreciate part of his works in the womb of pregnant women, by manifesting or showing how he places eyes, sight and every other functioning parts of man in a baby yet in the womb. 1. God doing that miracle in the womb, will not so much manifest the works of God to men: As it is written, As you do not know what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of a pregnant woman: even so you do not know the works of God who makes all (Ecclesiastes 11:5). 2. But God doing the same miracle outside the womb, will much more manifest the works of God, and appreciate the Son of God who created and makes all things. As Jesus Christ made and formed Adam from the dust of the ground, So did Jesus Christ also spat on the ground and mixed the spittle with the dusts of the ground to form miry clay and rubbed the gel around the sockets where eyes ought to be but have never being before. And then He commanded, Go and wash in the pool of Siloam ™ The same Word of God that created the heavens and the earth, said Go and wash in the pool of Siloam ™ And he went and washed and came back seeing (John 9:6-11). JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD - Therefore, worship Him as that man who was born blind did worshipped him: As it is written, ...Jesus said to him, Do you believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? And Jesus said to him, You have both seen him, and it is He that talks with you. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that those who do not see might see; and that those who see might be made blind. And some of the Pharisees who were with him heard these words, and said to him, Are we blind also? Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you should have no sin: but now you say, We see; therefore your sin remains. (John 9:35-41). Besides the man born blind, there was a man born crippled from his mothers womb and another born lame from his mothers womb. 1. The one lame from his mothers womb was laid at the beautiful gate, until Peter raised him up in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth (Acts 3:1-26). 2. The one crippled from his mothers womb already had the faith to be healed, and all he needed was the Word of Healing from Paul as it was done. The men of Lystra were about to worship Paul and Barnabas, calling them gods, as a result of this great work of God until Paul and Barnabas forbade them from idolatery to turn only to THE TRUE GOD AND HIS SON (Acts 14:8-20). Therefore, God who gives parts of the body in the womb can and will also give parts of the body in the name and faith of Jesus Christ. Inside that baby that is inside the womb is the works of God: For while true baby possesses its mothers womb, the works of God possess that baby: As it is written, For You have possessed my reins: You have covered me in my mothers womb. I will praise you; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are your works; and that my soul knows right well. My substance was not hid from you, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in your book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. (Psalms 139:13-16). So what is the lesson to learn from this update? The lesson to learn is this: Every pregnant woman is carrying two major things in her womb: One is the child and two is the Work of God. Actually, while the woman hosts the babe in her womb, the babe hosts the works of God in it. Let every babe host the works of God, and not the works of devils.
