BACK IN CELL RECEPTION!! Hello world :) IDAHO - Sunday - 119 miles north west Phew... What an incredible 24 hours! I swear I could not make this up any better, I am literally living a soul journey... Or better stated...A journey of souls. I took off from Ketchum in the morning and was trying to get as far towards Coeur DAlene (my next destination) as possible on Sunday. Life had other plans. More souls for me to meet. Was feeling the need to take a shower, but didnt want to pay an RV site to hook up. I built an external shower system for this purpose since my shooter inside is WAY too small. I looked up online this one guys design and built it stronger (I had hoped). I was just waiting for the right spot. As I drove away from Chuck, having paid my dues for coolant, along aong stretch of beautiful terrain, I saw my spot. A long dirt road along the side of he byway. Yeah there were cars passing by, but with a bathing suit on and my set up, Id be well shielded. It went off without a hitch! I felt incredible prose that I had made that happen. And the view...I could not have asked for a more perfect spot. Life wanted me to meet another soul, his name is Mark and his dogs name is Kona (a BiG malamute). He parked his trailer there before me and I just returned from four wheeling. Another amazing conversation about life, traveling and living in Idaho. I let myself just be an spent over an hour talking to both of them. I headed out after the shower and great conversation toward Red Fish Lake. I had purchased an advanced inflatable kayak so that I could kayak the lakes across the US. I pulled in, made myself some lunch and then took on the feat of putting the kayak together. To was awesome! Hung out on the lake for almost 2 hours and then heads out, I needed to make my way farther north. I needed to make sure I found a safe spot to sleep tonight. Completely out of cell reception on hwy 21, I pulled over when I saw a little dirt patch to the left, with 2 people walk toward a bridge. Didnt think anything of the site, just wanted to confirm my direction. The conversation started out as me asking for directions and ended up with me joining them at Kurkam Hot Springs (Sarah has been rSarahing me for the last couple of days to hit this spot. I was totally going to blaze past it, but something told me to pull over and talk to these 2). And then to them offering for me to park in front of their cabin for the night to sleep so I could be in a safe location. They were a grandfather and grandson who were up there working on the cabin. We had great conversation that night and the next morning for a few hours. Nate and Ross. During our conversation, Nate pulled himself inside and started writing something, took himself out of the conversation. His grandfather asked him what he was doing and he said Im drying her a map of her next journey, where to stop and what to see. I also learned that Ross had built the entire rock wall structure around the cabin and was very proud of it. You could see it in his body position as he stood next to it. Pride. Two incredible souls, with amazing stories. Again even though I needed to get on the road I love myself to just be. I am so happy that I did because these two souls were so giving and loving. When someone asks me what a half a day can bring, my answer is always its what you make of it and what you let life being to you. Between Chuck, Mark, Nate, and Ross I learned so much and now better person because of them. Truly humbled by my day. And it didnt end there....
