BACKUPS Just wondering what you all use for backups. Although I feel like I have myself covered I might find something better from feedback or more importantly someone might realise they havent got a good backup strategy and address it before its too late with wisdom from the group So, to start - my system: I use Aperture on os X for photo management. This can backup to a vault that preserves the image & all edits. I have 2 vaults on a 2 different external hard disks. I update the vaults every time I import a photo SD card. I also pay $5pm to backup to the cloud using crashplan. This automatically backs up (incremental) when I am connected to the internet so I cant forget. It emails me reports and warns if I havent backed up for a while. I think its important to have an offsite backup incase of fire / theft. Ive been happy with crashplan for 3+ years. There are plenty of other alternatives though. I havent reviewed the competition recently. Of course, some edited jpegs are on social media (flickr, google etc)
