BACOLOD - SILAY INTERNATONAL AIRPORT Set in bucolic backdrop of sugarcane plantation, rice fields, coconut palm trees and silhuotte of mountain greeneries the airport is one of significant landmark boosting business and economic activities in Western Visayas region. Located fifteen kilometers northeast of provincial capital Bacolod City, in Barangay Bagtic, Silay City, Philippines. The site comprise of 181 hectares lot area, entire complex consist of 21 buildings approximately 10,075 square meters floor area. Terminal building equipped with state of the art facilities, consisting of three floor levels. Airport has one primary runway 45 meters wide and 2,000 meters long. The runway runs in a direction of 03°/21°, and can currently handle aircraft as large as the Airbus A330.
