BAID One2One: TEST DRIVE? So you want to find out a little more about him or her? You think this is the one, but you are seeking more enlightenment or exposure of their character? Well well well - I have a little tip for you! Its little because its not the be-all-and-end all, for discerning personality! Its a tip because it will aid in a small, but significant way - to verify or further question things. So what am I talking about? Check out their DRIVING - both as a passenger and an observer! Did you know that our driving says A LOT about our emotions and how we handle them! So how does your intended partner deal with: •Traffic jams: Does he or she panic, yell and lose their calm. Do they weave in and out of lanes. Do they cause more trouble by blocking exits. Do they have the ability to be calm under pressure? •Use of the horn: How do they use it? Why do they use it? Could they communicate more constructively without it, do they just lose control and resort to noise pollution as their way of communicating! •Giving way: Are they generous, letting people in? Are they thankful after being let in? Do they retaliate against other drivers when they are not let in? Is there any compassion in their giving way to pedestrians? •Speeding: Does he or she obey the limit? Does everything have to be done in haste? Does he or she find thrill in speeding. Is she/he a bully behind the wheel? Does he/she use speed to show off or intimidate other road users. •Use of profanity - verbal or hand signals: Is this person rude or profane? Do they yell at others or pronounce evil one liners over others? Do they use immoral hand signals as their highway communication? •Obeying traffic signs: Does this person have an issue with obedience? Do they blatantly break rules for parking, u turns or other manoeuvres? Do disregard signs that are for their own safety and even back it up by speaking in tongues or quote Scriptures out of context! Well well well.... Interesting huh? So what? Now do the test drive ... It will tell you that little bit more and hopefully direct, confirm or even refute certain decisions you may have come to! The bigger picture: It is NOT about driving per se, I mean really! It certainly isnt being over judgemental either ...Nope! Its about your life time choice of a partner and recognising traits or behaviours. Remember: After giving your life to JESUS - the next most important decision you will make is WHOM YOU MARRY. In all, if you see unhealthy traits it doesnt mean he/ she is not the one, it does mean there is need for healthy discussion, communication of observations and an allowance for explanation and of course PRAYER. Ok over to you! Enjoy the test drive! #BAID #Beforeandafterido #keepingitreal #celebratingsingleness
