BALE TO LEAVE MADRID? Talk of Gareth Bale leaving the Santiago Bernabeu is picking up speed as Spanish paper SPORT report that Real Madrid have already lined up the Welshmans replacement. Apparently Real would be happy to cash in on Bale if they can secure a deal for Marco Reus, whos thought to have a release clause of around £20m in his Borussia Dortmund contract. Real would still demand north of £100m for Bale, however, which leaves Manchester United with a big decision to make following reports that Louis van Gaal has personally requested the winger. ARSENAL AND LIVERPOOL WANT MILNER According to the Daily Express, Arsenal and Liverpool are both desperate to sign James Milner when his Manchester City contract expires in the summer. Manuel Pellegrini recently said he expects Milner to stay at City, but talks over extending the utility mans deal have stalled. The 28-year-old has previously expressed his desire for regular first-team football, with Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers both hoping to convince Milner his future lies away from the Etihad. ARSENAL TARGET VAN DIJK Quick line from The Sun now, who claim Arsene Wenger has already found the new defender he hopes to recruit in January. The man in question is Celtic giant Virgil van Dijk, who was also linked with a move to Spurs earlier this month. Apparently Celtic are holding out for more than £10m for the 23-year-old, which could force Wenger to look elsewhere if there is no room for negotiation.
