BAND-AID! Raw footage of some stiff leg deadlifts the other day. First time using them so its a little rusty. Either way, how does this work?! Well the band actually pulls your pelvis up so that you cant cheat. This pulling effect also decreases the chances of lower back strain and injury. When most people perform this exercise their hips have a tendency to come forward. The band ensures the pelvis is tilted properly. When using the band for assistance, I felt a better pull from my hamstrings. Remember to keep your head up, flat back, and core tight! Next time I use them it will be a lot better.
