BAND OF THE DAY :: Daniel and Lauren Goans are Lowland Hum, a husband and wife folk duo from Greensboro who’ve crafted a multi-sensory performance experience that engages the senses of sight, sound, smell, and touch to reduce the space between artist and audience. The duo pairs music with imagery by incorporating visual art, hand-bound lyric books and essential oil burners to create a shared atmosphere and experience of beauty. It’s hard to convey the sound of two people in love, but Lowland Hum does that effortlessly through Lauren’s refreshing voice and Daniel’s passionate musicianship. Catch them Friday Oct 10th from 4:30-5:45pm on the Meadow Stage & Saturday Oct 11th from 3:45-4:45pm in the Cabaret Tent!
