BANGKOK LOFT INN - BANGKOK “Good location, great staff !” 4 of 5 stars Pending review By extending de BTS Skytrain lines into Thonburi (Western shores of Chao Praya River), this part of the city will get a boost in devellopment and appeal for more visitors. Bangkok Loft Inns location is great to explore Thonburi aswell teh eastern side of Bangkok, where most tourist-attractions are located (Wat Phra Kaew, Khao San Rd, etc) Its just a 10 minutes walk to BTS Wongwian Yai Station, and to explore the backlands of Thonburi its also a short walk to the Wongwian Yai Railway Station for regular trains to Wat Sai Floating Market and the Fishport of Mahachai. We booked directly through the hotels website and everything went smooth and flawless, including the free pickup from Suvarnabhumi Airport. The welcome in the hotel was warm and friendly. As English was spoken limited by some of the staff, they showed us a big caton sign with drawings of the availlable breakfast variaties. Very cute ! Fresh fruits are available at the frontdesk, for everones convenience. The rooms where spotless clean and well equiped. Big flatscreen tv with lots of foreign channels and very comfortable beds. Also included was a free safe depositbos in the room and enough space for clothes. An extra chair and small writing table would have been nice, but overall it was very good. The bathroom was small but complete and as earlier mentioned: spotless clean ! The Bangkok Loft Inn provides breakfast in a quite small breakfast room with friendly staff. Its semi-selfservice: your pre-ordered breakfast choice will be served, additives like coffee, thee, fruits etc can be obtained from the small buffet. The hotel has no restaurant unfortunatly, so for your other meals you have to find a place elsewhere. We arrived late in the evening and got a meal in a basic Thai restaurant opposite the hotel. For more flashier restaurants you can go to Asiatique Riverfront or into Silom-district, at the other side of the Chao Praya River. Al together we had a very nice stay in Bangkok Loft Inn, good clean rooms, delightfull staff and an authentic feel of Bangkok, without tourist-hassles. Would definitly go here again !
