BANGSAMORO AS GAZA. .BANGSAMORO IS ZILCH, MERELY A MIRAGE OF THE SULTANATE OF SULU. . .many contemporary Muslim thinkers such as Samira Gutoc have compared hot item Gaza with the plight of the Bangsamoro. .but SULTANATE OF SULU is the PURVEYOR OF BANGSAMORO, hence, we must be cognizant of its HISTORY. . .this historical urgency is coupled by the call of Sultan Ibrahim Bahjin for SULTANATE SINGULARITY of vision and mission, parallel to but independent of UNIFIED SULTANATE ORGANIZATION. . .agreed in principle by Tausug intelligentsia on my post on the subject. .with ma’am Aleyya Joe, Neldy Jolo, San Tindick, Barjunaid Amilasan, Rameer Tawasil suggesting principles, roadmaps and mechanisms. . .we will start with Elementary Sultanate, the genealogy, the foundation of leadership. .one-by-one. .insha ALLAH. .claimants are hereby requested to send their Family Tree. . SULU REGAL GENESIS. . HISTORY reveals that the arrival of Islamic religion in Sulu in 1138 brought a new socio-political structure that profoundly influenced the lifestyles and modes of the people. .the propagation of Islam with the natives of Sulu had, moreover, contributed immensely to the diverse cultural influence among the people, creating a strong foundation of governance and administration. . .the GENEALOGICAL PROFILE of the Sultans of Sulu asserts that the descent is from the prophet Muhammad s.a.w. through a Sharif who had come to Sulu and established a dynasty. . .the PREFERENCE FOR A DESCENDANT of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. to serve as a Sultan rather than someone else, is ultimately traceable to a Sunni doctrine that the Khalif of the Islamic community must belong to the Family of the Prophet s.a.w. . .an Arab missionary named Syed Abubakar came to Sulu and married beautiful princess, established the Sultanate of Sulu, the FIRST ISLAMIC CENTRALIZED THEOCRATIC SYSTEM thereat, and upon assumption to the throne as the first Sultan, he made the Royal Edict that only his offspring of paternal progeny, who shall carry the title Datu, could succeed to be Sultans of Sulu. . .on the fundament of this decree therefore, all Royal Datus are basically Sharifs. .and so the list of all Sultans who are believed to have ruled in Sulu follows, thereby establishing the edifice of the genealogy of the Royal House of Sulu. . 1. SULTAN SHARIFUL HASHIM. . .descendant of sayyidina Hussain, the 1st Sultan named Syed Abubakar assumed the royal name PADUKA MAHASARI MAWLANA AL-SULTAN SHARIFUL HASHIM, the name which was inscribed of his tomb located in one of the slopes of nearby Mount Tumantangis. He came from Mecca and was a well known Islamic scholar. .he converted many Sulu communities to Islam. .the Sharif is reported to have lived about 30 years in Buansa, the first seat of the Sultanate. .he was described as “KINDLED LIGHT OF ALLAH”. .he was wise and intelligent, learned in Islamic Jurisprudence and a master of his age and time. .he reigned from 1450 to 1480. .he built mosques and madrasahs, taught the message of Islam to the Tausugs, and introduced a technique of learning and teaching the Qur’an and Hadith to the Islamic propagators. . 2. SULTAN KAMALUDDIN (1480-1519). . .son of Shariful Hashim, succeeded his father as Sultan. .his daughter Putri Laila married the Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Bolkiah, (Nakhoda Ragam), begot a son named Abdul Kahar who later became Sultan of Brunei. .(Brunei is of interest to Lanao brother Atty. Wayang Kulit. What could be the reason?). . 3. SULTAN AMIRUL UMRA. . .grandson of the 1st sultan and also refered to as Maharadja di Raja. .it was during his reign that Sulu was invaded by Sultan Bolkiah of Brunei. . 4. SULTAN MUIZZUL MUTAWADDIN. . .he was the Maharadja Upo, sent by China to Sulu, who succeeded to the Sultanate upon the death of Sultan Kamaluddin. .speculated that there was some kind of trouble in the reign that was overcame by this ruler. . 5. SULTAN NASIRUDDIN I. . .surnamed Digunung or Habud. .he grew up and ruled from the interior of the island. . 6. SULTAN BATARA SHAH (1598-1608). . .Pangiran Tengah (Tindig). .died childless, the throne was passed on to his nephew Raja Bongsu, the son of his sister and the Sultan of Brunei (descendant of Sayyidina Hassan). . 7. SULTAN MAWALLIL WASIT (1610). . .Raja Bongsu, SULTAN OF BOTH SULU AND BRUNEI. .this was the beginning of the Sulu Sultanate by the descendants of the Brunei Sultan, Sultan Sharif Ali. .(this verily makes Puma Creek grin with gladness). . .insha ALLAH, will continue at next post. .my queen Shamira Ikbala has issued an oral edict just now that I have to escort her to Minpro grocery. . .cc: Wave Eiryneon, Benj Bangahan, Sulu Sultanate Darul-Islam, Sultan Muedzul-Lail Tan Kiram, Datu Razeev Tarsum Kiram, Atty Tish Bahjin, Attan Abdurajak, Mhel Jaujan Sibulan, Youseff Bahjin Kamlian, Nurullaji P Misuari, Clemencio Bascar, sir Nung A.
