BAPTISM: A GOOD STEP OF FAITH PART II 26th August, 2013 Baptism is the powerful platform of faith where we confess Jesus Christ. It is one of the important steps to be taken for a person who wants to walk on the part of Jesus Christ. It is one of the stages of faith where most believers and children of God die and perish. • For some, they lack the determination to move to others steps one must reach in faith. • Some lack the knowledge of other steps one must and reach in faith. You should not be part of these people whose faith died on the platform of baptism because they are likened to the sand of the seashore but the best type of seed of Abraham are those who are like the stars in the sky. Though the stars and the sand are creatures of God but the level of glory differs. Abraham bore two children, one from the Arabian woman is likened to the sand of the sea shore while the covenant child is likened to the stars in the sky. Those who cannot exceed more than the baptism level may be a worker in the church and receives God’s blessing but they will be stumbling block for the work. Strife to increase your faith to the level that Jesus Christ has laid down. After baptism, you have steps of faith you must be determined to take and be successful in. Mark 16 : 15. Before anyone can be joyous before the father, such must • Understand sin • Understand righteousness and judgement Anyone whose faith does not surpass the level of baptism, such will lack the understanding of sin, righteousness and judgement and will die in sin. Baptism is one of the experience in faith, strife to have the experience of Holy Spirit as well. Everything within the care of the parent to make this youth and juvenile have the understanding what they’ve done (baptism) today should be used’. Act 2:28 you need to be obedient to God’s word, warning, instruction and kingdom of God. John 3:3-5, water has been used to cleanse you today, strife to receive the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the first born among the dead and the first fruit of the new covenant Ephesians 5:26, 1 Peter 1:23, if you subject the word of God under you, you are not yet reborn by Christ Jesus. • Abide in the church where Holy Spirit is telling them his mind • Follow the way the owner has laid down. • Follow the power of God so that you will be kept
