BARANGAY NEWLY-ELECTED OFFICIALS (BNEO) SEMINAR - DAY 1 The Department of Interior and Local Government - San Pablo City under Mrs. Marciana Brosas (DILG - SPC) is now conducting the 3-day BNEO seminar at Auravel Grande Resort, Brgy. San Francisco, San Pablo City which had already started this morning, March 16, 2014. The orientation is under the topic Laying the foundation for grass roots empowerment for accountable and transparent barangays (GREAT BARANGAYS). Resource speaker for the Day 1 orientation was MR. MARCIAL A. JUANGCO, DILG-CLGOO of Tagaytay City who discussed regarding the Powers & Responsibilities of Elected and Appointed Barangay Officials. City Accountant Mrs. Lolita Cornista also tackled topics on Barangay Finance. Attended by newly-elected officials from different barangays of San Pablo City. Brgy. San Rafael delegation is composed of Chairman Ed Dela Cruz, Councilors Akhira Paul Borj, Jimmy San Miguel, Harold Beloy and Eric Eranzo. Various governance enhancement activities are expected for the duration of the seminar which will end on March 18, 2014.
