BARRIER LAC - MEDIA WRAP UP - TUES/WED - 17 & 18.9.13 BROKEN HILL 1. Between 8pm - 9pm 16.9 in Chapple Street, Broken Hill a vehicle had a mirror broken off the exterior of the vehicle 2. About 6pm 17.9 on the corner of Duff Street and Rockwell Street Broken Hill, a vehicle travelling north along Duff Street behind another vehicle attempted to turn right into Rockwell Street. At the time a vehicle was travelling south and had to avoid impact by swerving off the roadway colliding with a tree. No persons injured and inquiries continuing. 3. About 10.10pm 17.09 in Pell Street, Broken Hill residents disturbed a person attempting to steal a motor bike in the back yard. The offender fled the scene. The victim later found his black wallet was stolen from the unlocked car in the backyard. DARETON - BURONGA - WENTWORTH 1. At 8.40am 16.09 a 27 year old Mildura man was detected driving a vehicle on the Sturt Hwy Buronga. The driver was a suspended driver and received a court notice to attend Wentworth local Court 5.11 for Drive whilst licensed suspended
