BARTLESVILLE AREA FARMERS MARKET VENDOR OF THE WEEK--JULY 7, 2014 Cher Yang’s garden is located a few miles east of Collinsville, just north of Highway 20. Cher and her family have a large garden near their home they have occupied for about a year. They grow a wide variety of vegetables for sale at the farmers market. Cher and her husband have five children who help with the garden and sale of the vegetables. She has lived in Oklahoma 22 years and in Thailand 10 years before that, originally emigrating from Laos. She grows traditional crops, but still has some vegetables from her native land, such as Thai cucumbers and spinach. She encourages her customers to try some of these different vegetables.
