BASTIAN VISCH won the Diploma Selection project in FASHION at Designblok’14! The Dutch-Swedish fashion designer Bastian Visch grew up in Borås, once the textile capital of Sweden. After studying at The Swedish School of Textiles, Bastian moved to The Hague to study Fashion at the KABK, where he graduated in 2014. In July 2014 Bastian won the V&D Talent Award of the Lichting 2014 competition during the FashionWeek Amsterdam. On Saturday 11 October, he presented his graduation collection for which he drew inspiration from studying clothing and other objects in different light settings. He managed to capture the different ways of sunlight shining on the clothing and make it permanent with a photographic process. As he won the Diploma Selection competition we hope to see him back next year with his new collection being presented at Designblok 2015. bastianvisch
