BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police in Battle Creek are investigating an assault. It happened Wednesday around 9:40pm on a jogging path near Riverside Drive and Golden Ave. Police say a 30-year-old woman was jogging on the path when she was pulled to the ground from behind by a man. Police say he tried to grab at the woman and she struck him several times. When he stood up the woman realized that he was naked. He ran away down the path headed east. Police searched the area but did not locate a suspect. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 54-55, weighing about 160-170 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to contact Battle Creek police or Silent Observer.
