BATTLEFIELD SIT-REP This is the day after my second day of chemo - TopicsExpress

BATTLEFIELD SIT-REP This is the day after my second day of chemo infusions. And again, I came home with the chemo pump. Every-so-often, I can hear it pump a bit of fluid into to me. Odd how that fluid was handled before being hooked up....double bagged, and handled with gloves. I get the idea this is the high caliber weapon. Im weak, and lost ten pounds from the time of the first treatment. I have been properly admonished to get some reasonable exercise and go to the store, walk around the property, keep my blood pumping. This time the chemo has made my hands really sensitive from neuropathic symptoms. I cant hold anything cold in my hand. I used a glove to fetch stuff from the refrigerator, and manage my liquids ahead one and pour it and wait until its warm enough Cold liquids feel like shards of subzero ice pouring down my throat...not pleasant. Dr. Grapsky is a fast worker, with a great wit. He put it well, when he said that a few weeks ago Your whole world collapsed around you. True that Doctor G.
