BAWCS received a call from our friends at Edgars Mission last week - TopicsExpress

BAWCS received a call from our friends at Edgars Mission last week asking if we would like to take on two bobby calves. The heifers were by a British white bull who jumped the fence of a of a dairy farm and like the majority of calves born on such farms, they were not destined to stay there. More on what usually happens to bobby calves later. BAWCS volunteers picked up newly renamed Abbey (cute brown nose and matching brown ears) and Bella (cute black nose and matching black ears) yesterday and the girls are now settling in at the BAWCS shelter. They are only 4 weeks old and we look forward to watching them grow up, with regular updates posted, safe forever in BAWCS Farm Friends Program as permanent residents. Welcome little ones.
