BAZ!? Not on the Copperbelt! Police had it rough to stop the scores of youths who chanted MDAZ slogans upon my arrival in Ndola yesterday on a chattered plane which landed at exactly 17:30Hours. The Youths who vowed to terminate the BAZ routes on the Copperbelt said there is and shall never be BAZ on the Copperbelt because of its corrupt leadership sighting various incidences of defections owing to the poor leadership in BAZ. Aleisa, Aleisa, Aleisa.... Umuntu ni MDAZ for life, the vibrant but annoyed youths chanted. They appealed to the MDAZ executive to soften the rules guiding the membership into MDAZ adding that they are willing to be MDAZ anytime even before they find life partners. Ifwe ni MDAZ bakamba! We want to join even before tatulaupa, ifya BAZ fya ohooo ze bigge, so tulolekeshenipo ba Presido, pliiiizz?, one of the youths said. Meanwhile a new MDAZ chapter has been created on Copperbelt to housed in Ndola and headed by Athony Chomba of MUVI TV who has advanced in his quest to join MDAZ. Chomba who was among the youths who came to receive the Presido at the airport said its time to have a chapter for MDAZ on the copperbelt as this will enhance the recruitment programme that the organisation has launched. Presido, we are very willing and in support of all MDAZ activities world wide and we want to assure you that this chapter will be the strongest and will have more members than any other, a Happy Chomba said. He added; just see how mad these youths are at the so called BAZ? I beg you to ask its leadership never to step foot on the Kopala soil, because they will be buried here, hahahahahaha, he laughed. And MDAZ has since started looking into the possibilities of engaging those willing BAZ members to join MDAZ as trainee MDAZ members. This revelation comes in light of the demand the organisation has seen in many parts of the world regarding people wanting to join MDAZ. We therefore assure the masses that soon there will be a link on our website where people can join MDAZ after which approval shall be made by our secretariat.
