BCRT 2015 Calendar star Sophie Hartley made front page news of the Slough Observer about her work to raise awareness about primary bone cancer and encourage others to show off their scars. Sophie, 18, was first diagnosed with Ewings sarcoma when she was just eight years old. She has since had 12 operations, including a replacement right knee. She appears in our brand-new calendar, with the message From a battlefield, flowers will grow and hopes to show others going through the same thing that theyre not alone.
