BE CAREFUL! ... if you use FB after Jan 1st you are agreeing to the new terms and conditions , im picking through them now and there are loads. Im not sure what exactly is going on, ie if FB is in cahoots with gov agencies , i am tending to think not directly but government certainly does get info from them , but as the saying goes if you have nothing to hide etc , i just think you should be aware that FB is extremely intrusive and you have no control over that Facebook new terns and conditions for 2015 (the term 3rd parties include government agencies) dont be fooled by the privacy settings, you can control who sees what, like friends only , etc but you cant control the data they collect and share to 3rd parties AHEM COUGH gov agents, it gives them direct access to all your devices including your pc , phone, tablet etc which will include GPS monitoring of your movements (where you go and what you do) every web page you visit and every app you use, using your FB details they can keep the data indefinitely and use it anyway they like, remember they OWN your on line life, they MAY now require Government ID , passport drivers license, and for you to verify your friends IDs they record your private messages even the ones you typed but DIDNT SEND they can SELL YOUR PROFILE EVERY TIME YOU CLICK LIKE you give that page the power to use your name your photos etc to endorse their page FB carries out psychological / emotional experiments without your knowledge , the results of one such study was published in the National Academy of Sciences, which found that emotional states can be transferred via social networks. FB may claim to fight against Government data requests, but Facebooks second Global Government Requests Report showed that when the government asks, Facebook hands over at least some user data in more than 80 percent of cases: they can create data on you from what they INFER from your profile and messages , ie they can make stuff up about you and SELL IT !!! they can remove, alter or add ... your private texts, photos, videos etc https://youtube/watch?v=act2szJLqEQ
