Matthew 5:5 KJV The Lord God Almighty loves the humble; and because they humble themselves, God Raises them up in every way. It pays to be completely humble in every way. How many will heed this word and actually strive for complete humility in all ways? Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. Psalm 25:9,10 KJV The Lord our God is upright and although He is God, He does not despise mankind. This is why He considers sinners who humble themselves and pray to Him for forgiveness and th grace to live clean. He Teaches sinners as He does the humble His Way. O Lord, consider me favourably and Teach me Your Ways o Lord and Help me to live within The Way in Jesus Name. Amen!!! The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. Isaiah 29:19 KJV The poor are almost always humble because of the very nature of their circumstances; therefore, like the humble, they increase in the joy of the Lord (which is their strength), the Holy One of Israel!!! When Jesus had finished these parables, he moved on from there. Coming to his home town, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers? they asked. Isnt this the carpenters son? Isnt his mothers name Mary, and arent his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Arent all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things? Matthew 13:53-56 (NIVUK) When you are Called of the Lord, be prepared; for your authority will be questioned even to the point of ridicule almost wherever you turn. This happened first to our Master/Teacher, Jesus Christ; so dont be surprised! Even your circumstances and the peoples knowledge of you will be used against you; to ridicule you and even malign your name - all in their effort to challenge/question your authority when the Lord is Working through/in you!!! (5) Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble. 1 Peter 5:5 Young people in particular should take note of the above as well as older people who have lived according to the Word of God. The former, so they can heed the Word of God and the latter so they know not to stray from the Word of God.
