BE KIND TO OTHER PEOPLE Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me. (Matthew 25:40) COMMENT: ...theres one nature of our Ego that is extremely difficult to transcend - our PRIDE (the desire to feel important). We are not suggesting here of undermining our Self-Worth and/or Self-Esteem, what we mean here is enhancing our ability to be HUMBLE. Unless we become humble upon ourselves, we cannot consider those who are the least of our brothers as one of us. Which is why, humility is one of the greatest virtues that we can possibly offer to humanity. Lets be kind to other people because they, too, are part of our Spirit Essence (our Godliness). Through others we experience the love of God to all His children (altruism). We should aspire UNITY by loving others as ourselves. Jesus said: The second is this, YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. There is no other commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:31) Whenever an opportunity is presented to us to help others, give attention to them, appreciate them, love them, say some kind words, serve them, etc. lets be thankful to God for giving us the chance to glorify Him through the person that He has sent to us.
