BE MORE EFFECTIVE FOR CHRIST John 15:5-8 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples”. The more you read your Bible with devotion, the more effective you will be for Christ. We must embrace the wonderful Word of God as the most effective instrument for change. God does nothing without His Word. The Word of God is the instrument in the hands of the Holy Spirit to heal you, bless you, deliver you, guide and direct you and save you. Christ and the Word are one and the Word of God becomes a part of one by meditation. The more you read your Bible, the more you think about what you read and the more familiar you become with His voice in your heart. God speaks to us through His Word and by His Spirit and our heart is the communication point for the Holy Spirit as well as for satan, depending on who you give your attention to. For you to become more effective for Christ, His voice must speak louder in your heart so take time to educate your heart and conscious with the Words of the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is the best influence. Take time to splash round the Word of God, to absorb it, imbibe it and discover what God has to say to you each day. PRAYER: Lord, Jesus Christ, let Your Word abide in me and I abide in it so that I can hear Your voice and become more effective for Christ.
