BE STRONG IN THE VALLEY OF SHADOW OF DEATH: In life, even as believers of Christ, some people sometimes go through some very unpleasant experiences and pains. It could be sudden death of loved ones, loss of job, business deal or promotion, break up of marriage or unstable relationship, even expectations that didnt come to pass.Such challenging moments often pose serious tests to our faith, leaving us with a choice to either give up to the devil or embrace our circumstances with the right attitude of faith and be strengthened. When youre pressed between the hard rock and the wall with issues of life, dont grumble, complain, become discouraged or blame God for allowing such pains to be your lot.Look away from them.Never allow yourself to be weighed down in the dust of pain and misery by what you going through.Rather, always,be hopeful and courageous, irrespective of your experience. Child of God,what youre going through right now- choose to see it as a training moment to equip you with the ability to help others. Many preachers l know went through unpleasant experiences, some are victims of rape but today when they preach about it those who are victims and broken in spirit will be relived and comforted, some grew up in dust and never went to school, never had hope of a good life but today they are living a glorious life, theyve joy unspeakable because of what the Lord has done fir them.Whatever we go through it is to prepare us for the great future ahead. So that when we are up there we know how to respond to the cries of those who come to us broken. Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 1 : 3 - 4 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who Comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God, what Apostle Paul faced is what he used in his letters to comfort us.He never saw those trials as heavy affliction on him but he called themlight affliction(2 Cor 4:17), what an attitude? My brethren this is a winning attitude which Paul had and that is the attitude l want you to develop from today.
