BE SURE AND WATCH THIS ALL THE WAY THROUGH! This is from last November - but its worth watching. In this case a CCW permit holder intervened when an armed robber made one of his victims kneel and put his gun to the mans head. At this point the legally armed citizen drew his weapon and order the robber to freeze. Instead of complying, the suspect quickly spun around in an apparent attempt to shoot the armed citizen. It wasnt quick enough - the CCW permit holder shot him five times, ending the threat to staff and customers. The suspect was out on bail after being charged with - you guessed it - armed robbery. He is expected to survive his wounds. He has been charged in this cases as well. In this case, IMHO, the armed citizen acted with good judgment. He did not intervene until it appeared that the robber was likely to take someones life - but that has not stopped his family from accusing him of acting inappropriately.
