BEANS AND POLISH SAUSAGE 1/2 c. each of chopped onion, carrots and celery 1 clove of garlic, minced 2 tbsp. oil 8 to 10 oz. Polish sausage 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce 3 1/3 c. drained cooked or canned Great Northern or baby lima beans 1/2 tsp. each thyme, salt and black pepper Saute onions, carrots, celery and garlic in oil until tender. Remove vegetables from pan. Brown sausage in same skillet which has been cut in medium pieces. Then combine vegetables, sausage, tomato sauce, beans, thyme and salt. Pour into 2 quart baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Serves 6. * cooks
