BEAR MOUNTAIN (NY) SLEDDING, SKATING, SKI JUMPS 1959 Suffern friends- Heres a home movie capturing activity around a ski jump competition at Bear Mountain State Park (New York) in 1959. It was filmed by my dad, Lawrence Haas, and the music is by my daughter, Anna Haas. As a small child I remember my dad taking our family to the ski jumps. I stabilized some unsteadiness in YouTube to improve overall, but this created e few stuttering shots (esp. the ski jumps). For ski jump enthusiasts, today I will also post a different movie of same ski jump competition, but not stabilized and with many more ski jumps. Thanks, and please share widely.... David
