BEATLES ART & MUSIC GALA EVENING, SUNDAY OCTOBER 5th @THE MOXIE THEATER Wayne Riker is returning to this accommodating theater to present his one man Beatles show, a one hour non stop musical symphony of Beatles tunes, in streaming alphabetical order, from A to Z, instrumental guitar arrangements from every corner of the musical landscape. New Beatles titles every show. Whether youre a Beatles fan or not, its a show filled with eclectic guitar technique youre sure to enjoy. His pre-show guest will be Patrick Carney, The Artiste, who will be exhibiting his masterful Original Acrylic Paintings and pen & inks of the Beatles and other musical luminaries, in the lobby between 6:00 - 7 p.m., followed by the 15 minute pre-show in the theater where well chat about his work, The Beatles, and then trade some stories of our mutual days in the heyday of the New York City music, arts and cultural scene,, crossing paths with the likes of John Sebastian, Ramblin Jack Elliott, Tom Paxton, John Lennon, The Velvet Underground, Andy Warhol, Alan Ginsberg, Dizzy Gillespie & Jimi Hendrix, as well also recall some of the legendary haunts, including The Night Owl Cafe, Maxs Kansas City, Gerdes Folk City, The Fillmore East, Cafe Wha, The Cheetah, The Bitter End, The Cafe Bizarre & The Village Vanguard.
