BEDFORD PLEASE READ&SHARE IN SHA ALLAH.. Volunteer differently in your own home town of Bedford. Help us distribute Ramadan Gift Packs to Non-Muslims. If you want to you can also tell them why you fast & what it means to you. Show them the essence of Islam :-) We need VOLUNTEERS! Doesnt matter how old you are, whether you dont wear hijab, weather you dont have a beard! If your a MUSLIM then you have every right to do this!! Let us explain this.. Islam doesn’t need us but we (Muslims) need Islam. There are many misunderstandings about Islam in the world today and something needs to be done. If we are to keep Islam as part of our lives then we need to propagate and teach our fellow non-Muslim brothers and sisters the truth about our faith. We need to show them that Islam is a peace loving religion. There are many individuals in the world today who believe that Muslims are educated to commit acts of terror and violence, but in truth Muslims are taught to be peace devoted people. There are non-Muslims who think Islam degrades women, but in truthfulness Islam uplifts the woman. There are many more misconceptions that need to be corrected and it is our (the Muslims) job to see that misconceptions such as are answered to. *Also.... If your thinking now.. I do not have enough knowledge to do Dawah This is one of the most common excuses given for not doing Dawah. The Prophet (pbuh) said.. “Convey (my teachings) to the people even if it were a single sentence” (Sahih Bukhari, Vol.4, Hadith 667) So come on board Bedford! All we doing is distributing pots which have a few dates in each of them with a Hadith about fasting & a flyer! Distribute them & that itself is an act of Dawah! Be part of the change! wamy.co.uk
